8.9.27: Excursion

 Walking trip to the Thüringer Landessternwarte with dinner and guided tours.

There will be several different walks of different length/difficulty offered:

• long hike from the Old Palace to the observatory:12 km, 350 hm,
  good shoes necessary, only if the weather is good and there has been no rain,there is also different short cuts possible, with 6 km or 10 km length: long hike
• 
• short walk: from Tautenburg to the observatory, including the castle of Tautenburg: short walk
• 

9.9.27: Conference dinner

The dinner is planned at the brewery "Papiermühle". There will be a guided tour at the brewery possible.

You can take the bus 16, 280 or 292 from "Busbahnhof Jena" just next to Jena Paradies or "Holzmarkt" close to Limehouse hotel, which takes 10 min to reach "Mühltal, Jena" just next to the brewery.

10.9.27: Garden/House party

You are invited to a barbecue in our house/garden the last night of the conference.

11.9.27: Excursion to Weimar, if there is interest
